These pages
are dedicated to the people who remember my parents and the
younger generations who never had the opportunity to meet them.
I have included pages on the women,
my sisters, and men
who have shaped my life. Click on the highlighted words to enter

My daughter, Amber
and her husband, Bobby

My
mother was 17 and my father was 21 when they were married
in 1931.

Knowing
about our family traits, cultural beliefs, and values, helps
us to see patterns and traditions that might otherwise go unnoticed
or be taken for granted.
When
my father became a successful surgeon, he never forgot his roots.
His English heritage combined with the experience of growing
up as an American cowboy made it possible for him to feel comfortable
with people from all "walks of life."

My daughter
never got to know my dad but she has chosen Bobby who has
similar personality traits and values of my father. He has
an amazing sense of humor, a good work ethic and Irish eyes
that sparkle with a hint of mischief.
